School Transport

Generally as a parent or carer you are responsible for your child's journey to and from school. However, Bedford Borough Council provides free transport in certain circumstances.  Our Travel Arrangements policy provides further information on our statutory duties and eligibility criteria.

Transport Consultation

Bedford Borough Council recently undertook a consultation with regard to school and collage tranport.  Changes have been made to the school and transport policies, which will apply from 1st September 2012.  The new policies are available by clicking on the'School and College Transport Policy' link below.
