Transfer to Secondary School

Children normally transfer to secondary school at 11+ (the end of year 6). Although there are no secondary schools in the local authority area, parents may wish their children to attend a secondary school in another local authority area. If you live in the local authority area and want to apply for a secondary school place in another local authority area you must complete the transfer to secondary school form. You can download the application from this website. You must not use the online Application System.

Please return your completed application form to us by 31 October 2009
