Bedfordshire SACRE
SACREs are statutory bodies charged with
responsibility for advising Local Authorities on religious
education (RE) and collective worship. Each SACRE is composed of
four representative groups with voting powers: Christian and other
religious denominations, The Church of England, teachers'
associations and elected councillors. The Council may also include
co-opted members. The Bedfordshire SACRE usually meets three times
a year, once each term.
