Over the past 4 months the council has been developing an Early Help Strategy for Bedford Borough. The strategy builds on the consultation events held in the summer of 2014 in which many of you were involved. Goldington Family Centre Local Child Contact Centre

Child Contact Centres are great places for children to spend time with a parent they no longer live with. Grandparents and other family members can also use the centre. When parents separate or divorce many face emotional and practical issues which can take time to resolve. Parents also may find it hard to discuss and arrange child contact. Child Contact Centres are places where contact can take place safely and where parents do not have to meet. Details of how to refer to this service can be found at the GFC website and further information about how the service is run can be found here.
