Declaration of count totals

A referendum on an increase in the Police's share of Council Tax, proposed by Bedfordshire's Police and Crime Commissioner.

As the Counting Officer appointed for the Voting Area of Bedford Borough Council at the referendum held on 7 May 2015 under the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Act 2011, I hereby give notice that I have certified the following to the Chief Counting Officer: 

 

The total number of ballot papers counted was

The number of votes cast in favour of YES was

28,311

The number of votes cast in favour of NO was

52,399
