Community Governance Reviews

Government guidance suggests that it is good practice to conduct a Community Governance Review every 10-15 years.

What is a Community Governance Review?

It is a review of parishes and other arrangements by which communities can be represented and through which they can engage.  The main aims of a review are to secure future arrangements that:

  • reflect the identities and interests of the communities in the area; and
  • are effective and convenient

On these pages you will find details of Community Governance Reviews undertaken by Bedford Borough Council.  Select from the menu on the left the Review of interest to you.
