Dance 4 All!
A festival of dance will be taking place in Bedford town centre
this Saturday!
‘Dance 4 All’ takes place throughout the town centre and offers
everyone the chance to try a variety of different dance styles
including ballet, street, Bollywood, ballroom, contemporary, salsa
and many more!
The event runs from 11am-5.30pm and offers three rooms of taster
sessions in the Howard Room, Harpur Suite and the Civic Theatre. In
addition, there will be exhibitions in Bedford Corn Exchange as
well as outside in the town centre.
Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, said: “From Bollywood to
ballet and street to salsa there is something for everyone to have
a go at. Dance 4 All is a brilliant day of fun for the whole family
and this is shown in the high numbers of people who come to the
event each year.”
Councillor Doug McMurdo, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and
Culture, added: “In recent years, Dance 4 All has brought hundreds
of people together to be introduced to a new skill which is great
fun and an excellent way of keeping fit. I am sure this year’s
event will prove immensely popular once again and will introduce
even more people to dancing.”
Entry to all sessions throughout the day costs a one-off payment
of £2.
