Mother Nature Exhibition
ART EXHIBITION WILL
SHOWCASE MOTHER NATURE
Art lovers will be rejoicing in August and
September as Bedford Borough Council will be hosting an art
exhibition by ‘Carers in Bedfordshire’ at Borough Hall and Town
Hall entitled ‘Mother Nature’.
‘Carers in Bedfordshire’ is a registered
charity that was founded in 2004 to help and support all unpaid
carers of family and friends. It is also a member of the Princes
Royal Trust. They will be exhibiting work inspired by Mother Nature
at the Town Hall from the 23rd August – 20th
September and at Borough Hall from 20th September –
18th October.
The charity often works with the Cecil Higgins
Art Gallery and Bedford Museum and has showcased their art work at
the Toulouse – Lautrec, Treasures and Christmas Tree Festival
exhibitions.
Cllr Doug McMurdo, Portfolio Holder for
Leisure and Culture said: “The Council supports Bedford’s vibrant
arts culture as it is something all residents of the Borough can
enjoy and be proud of. The ‘Mother Nature’ exhibition will showcase
the work of local and talented artists from the Carers in
Bedfordshire charity, which helps to support people who care for
vulnerable family members and friends.”
