Amicus Trust (formerly Bedfordshire Housing Link)

A locally based charity providing accommodation, support, education and employment services, including accommodation and housing related support to single homeless Veterans.

The Veterans project provides Veterans with individual rooms and communal areas for up to 12 months. Additional support includes development in life skills, overcoming personal barriers and education and employment services.

Bedford and District Citizens Advice Bureau

Bedford and District Citizens Advice provide an advice service which is free, independent, impartial and confidential. Information and help is provided on a range of subjects including benefits, consumer rights, debt problems, family and relationship problems, immigration and nationality, housing and employment, and much more.

Bedford Foodbank’s volunteers work with referral partners to provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis.
