Bedford Borough Council Democracy Information

As a Unitary Authority from 1 April 2009, Bedford Borough Council is responsible for all major local government services in the Bedford Borough area, including Adult Social Services, Childrens Services, Council Tax and Housing Benefits, Education, Environmental Health, Planning, Road Maintenance, Parks and Open Spaces, Refuse Collection and Disposal, Recycling and Trading Standards.
