Bereavement Services

Welcome to the home page of Bereavement Services at Bedford Borough Council.

From an office based within Norse Road Cemetery, staff are committed to providing a high quality, caring service to the bereaved.

We offer impartial help, support and guidance on all aspects of bereavement including memorialisation.

Bereavement Services are full members of The Charter for the Bereaved.

Staff at the site are always ready to give conducted tours of the Crematorium and Cemetery.  These tours can be for organisations or individuals.  We are committed to explain about all aspects of the Cemetery and Crematorium in order for people to make informed decisions, in particular about the types of funeral and commemoration they want after their own death.
