Golden Bin Promotion

What is the Golden Bin promotion?

During March 2009 Pride in Bedford are running a Golden Bin Promotion to help celebrate The Big Tidy Up.

We want to reward users of public litter bins with a prize for binning their rubbish.

Throughout March people will be out and about monitoring litter bins. The Golden Bin can be any public litter bin, it could be in the Town centre or anywhere there is a litter bin. The bin will however, not be gold in colour. The chosen bin will be monitored for approximately half an hour and any users spotted will be rewarded with an on the spot prize.

Launch

The promotion will be launched by the giant litter people who will include the 'Golden' delicious apple core and the 'Golden' wonder empty crisp packet. The giant litter people will be in town in the first two weeks in March.

Prizes

All users spotted using the 'golden' bin will receive an on the spot prize of Pride in Bedford promotional merchandise.
