Queens Park Community Centre

Queens Park Community Centre animationQueens Park Community Centre provides an outstanding facility in the heart of the local neighbourhood. It retains the original character of this lovely building whilst offering the facilities of a modern community centre.

The large main hall has a stage and adjoining well-equipped bar and kitchen, with cooker and crockery, making the centre suitable for any type of function. In addition there is a committee room which can be used with the hall or separately.

The centre is popular with groups and local people alike. It is the home to singing, dancing and fitness classes. It provides a perfect venue for all sorts of social functions such as wedding receptions, conferences and parties including children's parties. The main hall is even high enough to accommodate a bouncy castle.

The centre can accommodate up to 250 people for dancing and can seat up to 200 in a theatre-style format. For catered functions the centre can seat 150 people.

This Community Centre opened in September 1994. It is a joint Borough Council/Church project and is next to All Saints Church which has use of the centre on Sundays.
