The Faraday Community Centre new building opened in March 2007.

The centre holds 100 people and can be split by a dividing wall into 2 halves (Part A and Part B). 

The Centre also has a kitchen.

Please note that for all party bookings, parties must finish by 22:30pm.

For all hirers (including charities) a deposit will be required to cover any breakages etc. during the hire

 

Children's Parties (Under 13) finish by 18.00hrs

£ 10 per hour

For all the above hirers there will be minimum hire period of 2hrs.

Hirers cancelled at less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.

Public transport

The Stagecoach (United Counties) Bus Route 9 Alight at Brackley Road close to the Centre.

Bonds

A bond of £100 (£50 for children's parties) is payable in advance. This bond will be returned (less any deductions) within 28 days of the booking.

Damage

The hirer (who must be over 18 and be present throughout the period of the hire) is responsible for ensuring that the centre is returned without damage.  In the event of damage being incurred the cost of the repairs is the hirer's responsibility.  If the cost of the damage is greater than the bond the additional cost is payable on demand.

Bio-Hazard

In the event of contamination of bio-hazard (e.g. Blood, vomit and/or Excreta) the duty caretaker ( the number is on the notice board next to the Health & safety Notices) is to be advised immediately.  There is an emergency telephone in the entrance hall, dial 9 for an outside line. On no account should hirers attempt to clear the contamination.  A charge of £20 per instance will be payable to cover the costs of protective equipment and bio-hazard disposal.
