E-Procurement Solution

The Council has implemented a new e-procurement solution (provided by In-Tend Ltd)  that will specialise in helping us improve our operational and financial performance by improving the way we buy all types of goods and services from our suppliers.

 

If you wish to find out how to approach Bedford Borough Council in order to supply goods and / or services, then you have come to the right place! The Bedford Borough Council e-Tendering and Contracts supplier portal has been set up to support our supplier engagement in Tender Opportunities and Contracts Management.

 

The Bedford Borough Council portal provides you with opportunities to access potential business through quotations or tenders (depending upon the contract value) via a one-stop information point which also contains details of how to register your organisation. If you are already contracted with us, the portal will facilitate Contract Management (including an updated contract register, contract repository, expiry dates & regular contract reviews, KPI’s etc.).

 

Registration is free, and takes just a few minutes. When complete, you will be able to express interest in any open opportunities when they are made available. In addition, we will be able to access your details whenever we have a requirement, and you may then be invited to tender or quote for work. Please be advised that all future business will be tendered through the In-tend system, failure to register will therefore limit your company’s ability to tender for work.

Visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/bedford to access the portal.

 

Click on Register to the left of the screen. As part of the registration form you will be asked to complete your Company Details, Company Contact Details and Primary User Details. Whilst registering you may only add one additional point of contact, however after the registration is complete you may login to your account and add as many additional contacts as you like. In the Business Classifications tab you are able to add a category. Click the blue + symbol to add a category relevant to your company. You can add multiple categories. Once you are happy with the details click on Register My Company. You can add further information once logged in.
