Bailiffs Code
This document is the code of conduct for
external bailiffs acting on behalf of Bedford Borough Council in
the enforcement of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates. It
is intended to assist them in dealing with the enforcement of all
such debts in a manner consistent with legislation, efficiency and
effectiveness but also consistent with the Council’s approved Fair
Collection and Debt Recovery Policy.
