Schedule of Elections 2008
Note: On 28th March 2008 the Bedfordshire (Structural Change) Order 2008 came into effect. Consequently, the previously programmed elections to the following Borough Wards were cancelled and the term of office of the Borough Councillors concerned was extended until the end of the statutory period after the ordinary day of elections in 2009. Identical provisions were also made for the elections to Parish Councils in the Borough of Bedford shown towards the end of this page |
The following Borough Wards were scheduled to have elections of one Councillor each on 1st May 2008 but these have now been cancelled as referred to above:
