Review of Settlement Policy Areas
The Allocations and Designations Plan will review the Settlement Policy Areas that are currently defined in the Local Plan of 2002.
The first stage of the review is a public consultation on how Settlement Policy Areas should be reviewed. The consultation paper is available to view below.
All responses should be received by the 10th October 2008.
There are two ways to send your response
1.Print off the ‘Review of Settlement Policy Areas’ document below, complete the questions within the paper, add your contact details and send it to the Council by post (the relevant address is contained in the document); or
2.Save a copy of the ‘Online Response Sheet’ (which just contains the questions from the consultation paper) to your computer, fill it in and then email it back to bdf@bedford.gov.ukas a WORD document.
Please note that all consultation responses will be made publicly available.
This consultation paper only relates to Settlement Policy Areas and does not relate to new allocations in villages (for example new housing, employment, community buildings etc). If you wish to suggest new allocations in villages please respond to the ‘Call for Sites’ consultation which ends on the 18th August.
