Regeneration Projects
Bedford has a number of regeneration projects currently being undertaken. The major physical regeneration project is the Redevelopment of the Town Centre. The Council is committed to the revitalisation of the town centre and has earmarked a capital allocation for a number of emerging projects. Commitments to date include the environmental improvement schemes in Harpur Street & Lime Street, traffic studies, Castle Mound Improvement Scheme and the relocation of the Tourist Information Centre.
