The applicants name and address will form part of the Public Register of applications which the Council publishes on the internet.
Online Planning Application Forms:Click on the link below to download the application form and to submit the application on-line via the Planning Portal website
including the facility to make an online payment.

Fees:
The Council charges fees for the different types of applications. Please make sure you find out the required fee for your application so as to not delay your application.
Maps and Plans
Under the terms of its copyright agreement with the Ordnance Survey, the Council is able to provide you with a map extract only for the purpose of submitting a planning application. There is a cost for this service, as set out within the planning charges link below. Ordnance Survey maps may also be purchased from specialist map suppliers and stationers. Historic maps may be available for viewing from
Bedfordshire and Luton Archives and Records Service or local libraries.

Supplementary Information
From 10 August 2006 5 copies of a Design and Access Statement is required to accompany all outline and full planning applications except for:
o A material change of use of land or buildings, unless it also involves operational development
o Engineering operations or mining operations
o Development of an existing dwelling house, or development within the curtilage of a dwelling house for any purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwelling house, unless the house is within a conservation area
o Applications relating to advertisement control, tree preservation orders or storage of hazardous substances
