Landscape Character Assessment


Consultants LUC worked with Bedfordshire County Council and Bedford Borough Council to prepare a draft landscape character assessment for Bedford Borough. This is one of a suite of landscape character assessments covering all of rural Bedfordshire and nests within an overarching county assessment.

The landscape character assessment provides technical guidance and evidence to underpin planning and landscape management decisions in the borough. Importantly it will assist the preparation of the Bedford Development Framework.
