In Case of Emergency ICE

This campaign has been launched to encourage members of the public to store emergency contact details in their mobile phones.

People are being urged to use the acronym ICE – in case of emergency – as the name within their mobile’s phone book that represents the phone number of the person they wish to be contacted in the event of an emergency.

By using the acronym ‘ICE’ this gives the police, ambulance and fire service immediate access to a next of kin or other contact point.   For more information, please click here.
