Household Waste

Below is a summary of the waste services the Council provides to residents:

Rubbish Collection

The Council collects general household waste every week. This is usually via a black bin or bag collection. If you would like to find out more about how we collect rubbish in the Borough click here. If you would like to find out what your collection day is click here.

Orange Sack Recycling Scheme

A recycling collection for dry recyclable materials (paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and tins/cans) is available through the orange sack scheme. For more information please click here.

Grarden Waste Collection Scheme

The Council also offers a green waste collection service to all householders to collect garden waste that is then taken to a local site for composting. For more information on this scheme please click here.

Mini-recycling sites

Bulky Waste
