Bedford Borough Council is committed to working with its
communities and partners to improve local quality of life. Working
together with our partners as part of the Bedford Borough
Partnership, we are determined to make the Borough a better place

We became a Unitary Authority on 1st April 2009 and provide a
vast range of services for over 161,000 residents and 65,000 homes
in Bedford, Kempston and 45 rural parishes.
