Councillors are elected to represent different areas, known as wards. Bedford Borough is made up of 26 wards represented by 54 councillors.

Your local councillor can help you in a number of different ways. He or she can speak on your behalf at Council Meetings or campaign on issues which concern your neighbourhood.
