Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensors
If your premises has or operates a Cooling Tower or Evaporative Condensor, it must be registered with the Local Authority.
The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensors Regulations 1992 require all premises where cooling towers or evaporative condensers are situated to register with the local authority.
The prime purpose of this is to identify potential areas that could give rise to spread of infectious disease such as Legionnaires Disease. Once we can ensure that all necessary preventative measures are taken to eliminate the risk of such infections arising to both employees and members of the public.
