Commercial Clinical Waste Colllection

SD Contracting provides a Commercial Clinical Waste Collection service to Doctors Surgeries, Veterinary Practices, Dental Surgeries, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Nurseries, Tattooists, Chiropodists, Beauty Salons, Leisure Sites, Schools, Police, Fire & Rescue Service and MOD Establishment.

All our clinical waste is sent to incineration.

The Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2005 came into effect on the 16th July 2005. This has resulted in some categories of clinical waste being classified as Hazardous Waste, based on their European Waste Catalogue (EWC 2002).

DSD Contracting only provides a Clinical Waste Collection Service for those items classified as non-Hazardous. Please refer to Technical Guidance WM2 (Hazardous Waste) available from the Environmental Agency website, that details the new European Waste Catalogue or contact the Environment Agency direct on their Helpline on 08708 506506.
