Facilities
Church Lane is the biggest community centre in the area, which has recently been redecorated and is of smart appearance inside. The accommodation is on two floors. There is a security button entrance into the Centre.

The foyer has comfortable seating and there is also a cold drinks machine.

The ground floor houses a well managed polish hall floor for dancing. There is also a Badminton court marked out.

There is a separated purpose built bar area.

There is a very large well equipped kitchen with catering facilities.

On the first floor there are two large committee rooms which can be separated by a partition or used as one room. There are facilities for making refreshments, plus a modern hot drinks machine. Also on the first floor there is an IT Study Room where there are 10 computers.

We would welcome enquiries from groups for conferences, classes and other activities. We also have a modern computer room for hire. Please note minimum hire 2 hours. Please watch local posters for more events

All of our hire charges are reasonably priced, with a special rates for voluntary groups.

Standard Hire Charges:-
From September 2008

Main Hall (Ground Floor)
£22 per hour for events of any kind plus the kitchen at an extra £8 per hour for full cooking, £2 per hour for just making tea/coffee etc and £4 for the warming and serving of food.

First Floor - Room A
Day time = £6 per hour
Evenings   = £7 per hour

First Floor - Room B
Day time = £8 per hour
Evenings   = £9 per hour

Room A & Room B
Daytime = £12.50 per hour
Evenings = £14.50 per hour

First Floor - Room C (computer room)
£10 per hour - (includes use of printer and paper)

Disabled Access
The Centre has been designed to accommodate disabled people, there is a lift in the foyer for the disabled to access the first floor and a toilet on the ground floor, equipped for the disabled.

Parking
There is a large car park shared with users of the local shops situated next to the centre. There are security cameras in the car park area.

Telephone
The telephone at the Centre is for 999 Emergency calls only

PLEASE NOTE THAT CURRENT HIRERS WILL HAVE THE FIRST OPTION TO HIRE ROOMS IN THE NEW BUILDING, ANY NEW HIRERS WISHING TO ADD THEIR NAME TO THE LIST WILL BE SELECTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS **
