Allocations and Designations Plan Issues and Options

Consultation on Issues and Options is the initial stage in the preparation of the Allocations & Designations Plan. It enables the Council to involve the community at an early stage.

Consultation on the Issues and Options Paper is taking place from 30 April to 16 June 2008. Comments on the Issues and Options paper preferably should be made using the response sheet. Please send your response sheets to:

Also available for comment is the Sustainability Appraisal of the options paper. This is the second stage of the Sustainability Appraisal of the Allocations and Designation Plan. This second stage of the appraisal considers:

the results of the Scoping Report consultation
the proposed objectives of the Allocations and Designation Plan
the social, environmental and economic effects of the identified options.

The Sustainability Appraisal is available to view below, along with the consultation responses that were received on the Scoping Report. Any comments on the Sustainability Appraisal should be sent to the above address by the 16^th June.
