Bedford Kite and Motoring Festival

We are pleased to announce that the Bedford Kite and Motoring Festival will take on 24 and 25 June 2023.

Following the successful introduction of the motoring element in 2019, this family-focused festival will expand even further in 2023 with a whole host of motor vehicles, kite flyers, vegan fare, music, food and drink, river entertainment and children’s activities.

We have more than 250 vehicles attending this year’s festival. Thank you to all those who have brought tickets to attend. We look forward to welcoming you to site.

Quiet space for families of children with SEND - new for 2023

At this year’s Kite and Motoring Festival there will be a dedicated area for families of children and young people with special educational needs and / or a disability (SEND).

This area will have a quite space for people to sit and have a sensory break from any crowds, a dedicated bouncy castle for children with SEND, a changing places toilet and an information stand.

We hope that the festival will be inclusive to all, but we know that some families will benefit from knowing that there is also a dedicated space that they can go to if required
